“ We had breakfast at Lapu Lapu and it was so tasty. There are some more traditional sandwiches then they have American traditional breakfasts. The more traditional sandwiches remind me of something I would highly enjoy if I was hungover. Everything was tasty. No reservations needed, tables are outside or you do take out. Give it a try for something more casual! ”
“ Hands down one of the best breakfast sandwiches in the area! When I have friends come in from out of town, I take them here every time. Every sandwich I've gotten with scrambled eggs here has had perfectly soft scrambled eggs which can be hard to get right! The bacon egg and cheese, spam egg and cheese and bistek sandwiches are my favorite! Their ube soft serve icecream is also to die for! Sometimes I'll come just for the ice cream! ”
“ Absolutely love their breakfast sandwiches. Great flavors/combinations so I recommend branching out from their American style sandwiches. It was easy to take out and they have a nice patio to eat and chill with your dog. Will be returning! ”
“ I went here once and fell in love. I've been to a few places that I enjoy but I came back three days in a row to try different sandwiches. You will end up waiting a little longer but these sandwiches are worth the wait. They are messy but delicious. I do wish they had the four seasons drink in stock but everything else was enjoyable. I will be going here again and again for the foreseeable future! ”
“ An amazing takeout place. I crave this when I'm away at college! The meat is super flavorful and tender and I tried the ube soft serve for the first time today, and it was absolutely amazing. ”
“ I stopped by Lapu Lapu on a sunny weekend morning and had such a great experience. It’s a casual spot that operates out of a small kitchen window with just a few outdoor tables. I ordered the Spam breakfast sandwich, which was around 11, and it was delicious. The bread was toasted just right, the Spam had crispy edges, and the sauce added the perfect savory kick. It was surprisingly filling and totally hit the spot. They offer both Filipino-inspired and American-style breakfast sandwiches, so there’s something for every kind of craving. You can tell they put real thought into the flavors. There’s also a small sign by the window that shares the story behind the name Lapu Lapu—a Filipino hero who resisted colonization—which adds a meaningful cultural touch. Service was quick—I got my food within 10 minutes, even with a few people ahead of me. It’s a great option if you want something fast but flavorful. I sat outside since it was a nice day, and the vibe was super relaxed. I’ll definitely be back to try more sandwiches and their ube ice cream next time. Perfect for a quick grab-and-go breakfast or a casual weekend bite. ”
“ Delicious and convenient pan de sal breakfast sandwiches and sides for take out! Even just the loaded tater tots are enough for a meal Lapu Lapu is located in the middle of the Kentlands Square Market and only has outdoor seating. I recommend ordering online so you can just pick up your order when you arrive! The bistek and corned beef sandwiches are my favorite and they’re “what a SPUD!” tater tots will really fill you up. They also have drinks from popular Filipino brands that I don’t often see around the area. I’d highly recommend this place for a convenient and yummy Filipino fusion meal and I will definitely be back in the future! ”
“ Finally checked out Lapu Lapu and wasn't disappointed. I couldn't decide between the corned beef and the chorizo sausage sandwich so I ordered both. Both of the sandwiches benefit from the fluffiest, tastiest toasted bun. Don't sleep on the bun. And the eggs were soft and fluffy as well, really good complement to the main fillings. As for the filling, I wasn't as impressed with the corn beef itself, it just tasted a bit bland and could have used some sauce or a bit more flavor in general. But the chorizo one was next level, set off by the Lapu Lapu sauce. Yum. Perfectly tender patty with a lot of flavor on its own. This is purely a pick up counter, not a sit down restaurant so grab it to go or sit outside at the several tables adjacent to it. Friendly and fast service too. Looking forward to returning and trying more of the menu! ”
